Shanghai Ventures is a privately funded, diversified investment company managed by a group of American MBA’s, lawyers, and industry professionals.  It is based in Shanghai, China, where CEO James "David" Spivey resides full-time, and has an office in New Haven, CT.

Since 2003, we have provided more than USD 50 million in returns for our investors on invested capital of less than $10 million.  Our three proprietary Shanghai-based real estate investment funds have each generated cash-on-cash returns for our equity investors of more than 100% in an average of three years.  Our private debt has yielded more than 20% returns on a compound annual basis to our lenders.
